Product Overview
DC644A is a LT5520EUF 1.3GHz to 2.3GHz high signal level upconverting mixer demonstration board. Demonstration circuit 644 is an upconverting mixer featuring the LT®5520. The LT®5520 is a 1.3GHz to 2.3GHz high linearity upconverting mixer optimized for wireless and cable infrastructure applications. A high-speed, internally matched LO amplifier drives a double-balanced mixer core, allowing the use of a low power, single-ended LO source. An RF output transformer is integrated, thus eliminating the need for external matching components at the RF output while reducing system cost, component count, board area and system-level variations. Demonstration circuit 644 is designed for an RF output frequency range from 1.3GHz to 2.3GHz and is optimized for a 140MHz IF input frequency.
- Supply voltage range: 4.5V to 5.25V at TA = 25°C
- 60mA of supply current at VCC = 5V, EN = high, TA = 25°C
- 100µA maximum shutdown current at VCC = 5V, EN = low, TA = 25°C
- 20dB IF input return loss at Z0 = 50 ohm, with external matching, TA = 25°C
- Conversion gain of -1dB at PIF = -10dBm, PLO = -5dBm, TA = 25°C
- IF common mode voltage is 1.77V at internally biased, TA = 25°C
