Product Information
Product Overview
HMC311LP3E is a GaAs InGaP heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) gain block MMIC SMT DC to 6GHz amplifier. It can be used as either a 50 ohm gain stage or to drive the LO of HMC mixers with upto +17dBm output power. It offers 14.5dB of gain and an output IP3 of +32dBm while requiring only 56mA from a +5V supply. The Darlington feedback pair used results in reduced sensitivity to normal process variations and yields excellent gain stability over temperature while requiring a minimal number of external bias components. It is used in applications such as cellular / PCS / 3G, fixed wireless & WLAN, CATV & cable modem, microwave radio.
- Gain variation over temperature is 0.005dB/°C typical at (DC - 2GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Return loss input / output is 13dB typical at (DC - 1GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Reverse isolation is 18dB typical at (DC - 6GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Output power for 1dB compression (P1dB) is 15.5dBm typical at (DC - 2GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Noise figure is 6.6dB typical at (DC - 6GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Supply current is 55mA typical at (TA = +25°C)
- Supply voltage is 5V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
- Package style is 16-lead lead frame chip scale [LFCSP]
