Product Overview
FRDM665SPIEVB serves as a hardware evaluation tool in support of the MC33665A device (SPI variant) from NXP. The MC33665A is a gateway router that can route TPL messages from the microcontroller (MCU) to four different TPL ports. It is designed for use in both automotive and industrial applications. The device can route both TPL2 and TPL3 messages. The FRDM665SPIEVB is an ideal board for rapid prototyping of the MC33665A for SPI interface to a MCU. On-board TPL interface for four TPL ports has transformer isolation.
- MC33665A general purpose BMS communication TPL transceiver and CAN FD gateway
- SPI communication (10Mbit/s of data)
- TPL communication (2Mbit/s)
- 20 pin connector for GPIO and I2C interface
- Connectors to interface with S32K344 EVB
- DIP switch to configure CFG and ID pins
- Jumpers to configure VDDIO
- Reset switch to control MC33665A
- SPI to 4 x TPL communication
- 8 GPIO pins (2 pins configurable for I2C)
