Product Overview
74VHC245FT(BJ,K) is a CMOS digital silicon monolithic IC. It is an advanced high speed CMOS octal bus transceiver fabricated with silicon gate C²MOS technology. It achieves the high speed operation similar to equivalent bipolar schottky TTL while maintaining the CMOS low power dissipation. It is intended for two-way asynchronous communication between data busses. The direction of data transmission is determined by the level of the DIR input. The enable input (active-low G) can be used to disable the device so that the busses are effectively isolated. All inputs are equipped with protection circuits against static discharge. It is pin and function compatible with the 74 series (74AC/HC/AHC etc.) 245 type.

- Propagation delay time is 4ns typ at (5.0 ±0.5, CL =15pF, Ta = 25°C, input: tr = tf = 3ns)

- Quiet output maximum dynamic VOL is 0.7V typ at (CL = 50pF, Ta = 25°C, input: tr = tf = 3ns)
- Input leakage current is ±1µA max at (VIN = 5.5V or GND, 0 to 5.5V, Ta = 25°C)
- Quiescent supply current is 4µA max at (VIN = VCC or GND, 5.5V, Ta = 25°C)
- Input capacitance is 4pF typical at (Ta = 25°C, input: tr = tf = 3ns)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C, AEC-Q100 qualified (Rev. H)
