The MAX98300ETA+T is a mono 2.6W class D amplifier in 8 pin TDFN package. It provides class AB audio performance with class D efficiency. This device offers five selectable gain settings (0dB, 3dB, 6dB, 9dB and 12dB) set by a single gain select input (GAIN). Active emissions limiting edge rate and overshoot control circuitry greatly reduces EMI. A patented filterless spread spectrum modulation scheme eliminates need for output filtering found in traditional class D devices. These features reduce application component count. The MAX98300 industry leading 0.78mA at 3.7V (1.1mA at 5V) quiescent current extends battery life. It has oscillator frequency of 300KHz, spread spectrum bandwidth of ±10KHz, efficiency of 89% and noise of 36μVrms.

- Click and pop suppression
- Thermal and overcurrent protection
- Less than 0.1μA low current shutdown mode at TA = +25°C
- Turn-on time of 3.7ms and bias voltage of 1.3V
- Input resistance of 20Kohm (AV = 12dB) at TA = +25°C and output offset voltage of ±1mV
