TSC199A3ICT is a zero-drift current sense amplifier that can sense current via a shunt resistor over a wide range of common-mode voltages from -0.3V to +26V, whatever the supply voltage is. TSC199 is designed with a specific zero-drift architecture, which can achieve high precision. TSC199 is able to sense very low drop voltages, as low as 10 mV full scale, minimizing measurement error. TSC199 may be used in various functions like precision current measurement, overcurrent protection, current monitoring, and feedback loops. Applications include notebook computers, telecom equipment, industrial applications, power management, and battery chargers.
- Supply voltage range from 2.7 to 26V, wide common-mode voltage is -0.3V to 26V
- Offset voltage (RTI) is ±1150µV max at (VSENSE = 0mV, T = 25°C, VCC = 5V, VIN+ = 12V)
- Gain error is ±1.5% maximum at (VSENSE = -5mV to +5mV)
- Gain is 200V/V typical at (T = 25°C, VCC = 5V, VIN+ = 12V, VSENSE = VIN+ - VIN-)
- Offset voltage variation vs. temperature is 0.5µV/°C max at Tmin < T < Tmax, T = 25°C, VCC = 5V
- Input bias current is 28µA typical at (VSENSE = 0mV, T = 25°C, VCC = 5V, VIN+ = 12V)
- Bandwidth is 25KHz typical at (CL = 100pF, T = 25°C, VCC = 5V, VIN+ = 12V)
- Slew rate is 0.2V/µs typical at (CL = 100pF, T = 25°C, VCC = 5V, VIN+ = 12V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
