ADGM1304 is a wideband, single-pole, four-throw (SP4T) switch, fabricated using Analog Devices, Inc., microelectromechanical system (MEMS) switch technology. This technology enables a small form factor, wide RF bandwidth, highly linear, low insertion loss switch that is operational from 0Hz/dc to 14GHz, making the device an ideal solution for a wide range of RF and precision equipment switching needs. An integrated driver chip generates a high voltage to electrostatically actuate a switch that can be controlled by a parallel interface and a serial peripheral interface (SPI). All four switches are independently controllable. It is used in applications such as relay replacements, automatic test equipment: RF/high speed digital and mixed signals, load and probe boards: RF/high speed digital and mixed signals, RF test instrumentation, reconfigurable filters and attenuators, high performance RF switching.
- On resistance is 2.9 ohm maximum at (VDD = 3V to 3.6V)
- Off leakage is 0.5nA maximum at (VDD = 3V to 3.6V)
- 11GHz typical -3dB bandwidth (RF1, RF4)
- Insertion loss is 0.26dB typical at 2.5GHz
- Isolation is 24dB typical at 2.5GHz
- Input third-order intermodulation intercept is 69dBm typical
- Maximum RF power is 36dBm, actuation lifetime: 1 billion cycles (minimum)
- Supply voltage range from 3V to 3.6V, CMOS/LVTTL compatible, parallel and SPI interface
- Independently controllable switches, on switching time is 75µs maximum
- Operating temperature is 0°C to 85°C, package style is 24-lead LFCSP-VQ
