HMC661LC4B is an ultra-wideband track-and-hold amplifier. It is a SiGe monolithic, fully differential, single rank, track-and-hold (T/H) that provides unprecedented bandwidth and dynamic-range performance to wideband sampled signal systems. The device can be clocked to 4GS/s with minimal dynamic range loss. The T/H can be used to expand the bandwidth and/or high-frequency linearity of high-speed A/D conversion and signal acquisition systems. Typical application includes RF ATE applications, digital sampling oscilloscopes, RF demodulation systems, digital receiver systems, high speed peak detectors, software defined radio, radar, ECM and ELINT systems, high speed DAC De-glitching.

- Differential full scale range is 1Vpp (typ, full-scale input for linearity test, TA = +25°C)
- Input resistance is 50 ohm (typ, each lead to ground, TA = +25°C)
- Return loss is -23dB (typ, 0 to 12GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Input common mode voltage range from -0.1 to 0.1V (TA = +25°C)
- DC differential clock high voltage (track mode) is 40mV (typ, TA = +25°C)
- Amplitude (sinusoidal input) range from -6 to 10dBm (TA = +25°C)
- Input common mode voltage is -0.5 to 0.5V (TA = +25°C)
- Clock slew rate is 2 - 4V/ns (typ, recommended for best linearity, TA = +25°C)
- 24 lead LCC-EP package, operating temperature range from -40 to +85°C
