The MAX6367PKA29+T is a low power µP supervisory circuit with battery backup and chip enable gating in 8 pin SOT-23 package. This supervisory circuit simplify power supply monitoring, battery backup control functions and memory write protection in microprocessor (µP) systems. This device performs four basic system functions such as providing a µP reset output during VCC supply power-up, power-down and brownout conditions, memory write protection through internal chip enable gating during supply or processor faults, include a battery-on output, internal controlling of VCC to backup battery switching to maintain data or low power operation for CMOS RAM, CMOS µPs, real time clocks and other digital logic when the main supply fails. The circuit significantly improve the size, accuracy and reliability of modern systems with an ultra small integrated solution.
- Supply voltage range is 0V to 5.5V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- Precision monitoring of 5V, +3.3V, +3V and +2.5V power supply voltages
- Low +1.2V operating supply voltage (VCC or VBATT)
- On-board gating of chip-enable signals, propagation delay is 1.5ns
- Active-low, open-drain reset type with threshold of 2.93V
- Minimum reset timeout period is 150ms
- Low quiescent supply current is 10µA at VCC = 2.8V
- Power supply transient immunity
