MINIQUSB+

MINIQUSB+ is a command module that receives commands from a PC through USB to create an SPI or SMBus/I2C-compatible interface. Analog Device's evaluation kits (EV kits) that make use of the MINIQUSB require custom software and can be ordered together as an evaluation system (EV system). An EV system is an EV kit combined with an interface board such as a MINIQUSB and custom software. The MINIQUSB module is provided as part of selected Analog Device's EV systems for the purpose of evaluating Maxim/Dallas parts only. The use of the MINIQUSB as a development target is not supported.

• PC-controlled I/O platform
• USB powered interface module
• Provides 3.3V at 80mA to the EV kit
• SPI bus supports 8MHz burst operation
• I2C/2-wire bus supports 400kHz fast and 100kHz standard modes
• Accepts I2C SCL clock stretching
• MINIQUSB-XHV protects against I2C bus faults above 3.3V
